Cancellation Process

If you are cancelling on the day of the game:

Go to casualfootball.co.uk
Click your initial in the top right of the page
Navigate to "My Bookings"
Click "Manage" on today’s game and then click "Cancel"
Let the group chat know you've cancelled and there's a spot available

⚠️ Important: If you are cancelling more than 24 hours in advance, please use the Reschedule option instead of Cancel.
If you're unsure when you'll be able to return, please contact one of the admins — we're happy to help.

Same-Day Cancellations

If a player cancels on the day of the game, their fee is non-refundable.
This helps us maintain a smooth and reliable game day experience for everyone involved.

Why the Replacement Player Still Pays

Even if a replacement player steps in, they will still be expected to pay. Here's why:

Fairness: We've tested a free replacement system before, but it led to players hanging back in hopes of joining for free, which isn't fair to those who paid and committed in advance.
Accountability: A free spot due to cancellation can feel like a reward rather than a disruption. Our current policy helps ensure cancellations are treated responsibly.
Process & Compliance: All players must book via our system to confirm their attendance and agree to our terms and conditions — important for both auditing and insurance.
Respect for Time: Chasing last-minute replacements takes time and effort. As this is a business, we believe that effort deserves respect and consideration.
